Yes. Many drivers working on ride-hailing platforms in Poland are foreigners. However, certain formal requirements must be met.

Knowledge of Polish isn’t always required, but basic communication skills can make it easier to interact with passengers and deal with official matters.

The time depends on the type of documents and the office handling the case. In many cases, the initial formalities can be started relatively quickly.

Yes. If you are a foreign national, in order to work legally in Poland, you must have a legal basis for staying in Poland that allows you to take up employment (in particular, a valid visa, a residence permit, a stamp in your passport confirming that the residence permit application process is ongoing, or be staying under the visa-free travel regime) and be authorized to work for a specific employer (in particular, based on a valid work permit, a declaration of intent to employ a foreigner from the District Labor Office, or be exempt from the requirement to hold a work permit).

If you are a foreign national entering into a working relationship with us, please contact our hotline directly to discuss the details of your employment. We process Type A work permits, residence cards, and declarations of intent to employ a foreign national.

The process involves submitting the necessary documents to the relevant office and confirming the validity of the driver’s license issued in the country of origin.
